PRIVATE • TEMPORARY TEST

Can Safari keep
the conversation going?

A real, two-way WebRTC connection. No phone network. No OpenAI.

Ready when you are

Open your private test link in Safari, not Slack’s embedded browser.

Audio status will appear here.

Try this on your iPhone

  1. Tap Start and allow the microphone. Wait for Connected.
  2. Say “before lock”. Lock the phone with the side button.
  3. While locked, say “locked thirty seconds”, then “locked one minute”. A short quiet tone every 10 seconds tests incoming audio.
  4. Unlock, say “after unlock”, then tap Stop & get recording. Listen for the phrases spoken while locked.

Test Safari first. Repeat separately with AirPods, an app switch, or a Home Screen install. No screen Wake Lock is requested.

Privacy & limits

Your audio travels encrypted between your phone and this laptop. It is recorded only in browser memory, then sent back to your phone over the encrypted connection. Nothing uploads the recording to Cloudflare or OpenAI. Reloading discards unsaved results.

Cloudflare serves this page and relays connection setup (including network addresses); Google STUN helps find the direct route. Ordinary service/network metadata may be logged. There is no TURN media relay or analytics.

This tests real WebRTC microphone/background behavior, not OpenAI voice quality or the full Voicebot integration. If the devices cannot connect, that is an ICE/network result—not an iOS microphone result. Stop after two minutes; the receiver also auto-stops after 12 minutes.
